Founded in 2024, Negresco Property Group (“NPG”) is a real estate investment firm focused on industrial outdoor storage (“IOS”) investments primarily located in major markets in Southern California. Leveraging its extensive local expertise and relationships within its core markets, NPG acquires and manages functional, low coverage assets situated within proximity to two of the world’s most active and supply-chain vital ports (Long Beach and Los Angeles). With a strategic focus on assets in the transportation, logistics, and product fulfillment sectors, NPG drives and maximizes investment value through operational efficiencies, innovative solutions, tailored business plans, and accretive capital programs.
Benji Miller is Founder and Managing Partner of Negresco Property Group. He is responsible for investment activities including sourcing, underwriting, due diligence, closing, asset management, and disposition. Additionally, Mr. Miller spearheads strategic partnerships and investor relationships.
Prior to founding NPG, Mr. Miller was a Founder and Partner of 5-Ronin, a real estate development firm with investments in life sciences and IOS assets. During his tenure, he oversaw all aspects of sourcing, management, and disposition of the firm’s $100+ million IOS portfolio with capital from private equity investment firms and a private family office. Prior to 5-Ronin, he was an Investment Officer with First Industrial Realty Trust (NYSE: FR) overseeing industrial acquisitions across Southern California. Previously, Mr. Miller was a Vice President with Los Angeles-based Hackman Capital where he worked on over $2 billion of acquisitions and refinancings across industrial/IOS, studio, and office transactions. Notable acquisitions included the Hostess Bakery portfolio via bankruptcy auction, CBS Studios Hollywood, Manhattan Beach Studios, and Culver Studios (home to Amazon Studios).
Mr. Miller received his bachelor’s degree from University of Michigan and his Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and Master of Real Estate Development from University of Southern California. He actively supports and volunteers at USC’s real estate programs, was selected as a member of NAIOP SoCal’s 2022-2023 Young Professionals Group, and serves on the NAIOP Legislative Affairs Committee.
